Park
Reservation Policy
Each
year, Providence takes reservations for Zollinger and Von's Park.
The reservation fee is $25 for Zollinger park and $51 for Von's
Park. Reservations are taken from City residents starting Jan.
1. After March 1, anyone can make a reservation. Reservations
may be cancelled for a full refund no later than two weeks prior
to the event. Full refunds for cancellations due to inclement
weather or unusual circumstances will be considered on a case
by case basis. Contact the City Office at 752-9441 to make your
reservation.
What's in Von's Park?

Vons
Park is located at 350 East Center. It is nestled in a wooded
area with Spring Creek running through it. There is a large
covered bowery with 15 tables that seats approx 150 people.
The kitchen consists of a sink with only cold water, and
a window that opens to a serving area.
There
is electricity and a fire pit. There are volleyball standards
but no net or ball provided. Restrooms are available and
garbage cans. A large parking lot sits next to the park.
There are no paved walkways, but it is ADA accessible.

What's
in Zollinger Park?

Zollinger
Park is located at 51 North 200 West. It has been used mainly
as a sports facility with soccer fields, baseball diamonds,
volleyball court, tennis courts and horseshoe pits. There
are two covered boweries, the large one seating around 120
people (12 lg. tables) and the small one seating about 50
(7 regular tables).
There
is playground equipment for children and a concession stand
that is open during ball games. There is plenty of parking
available and also modern restroom facilities. Park lighting
makes evening events possible. The ballfields have electronic
scoreboards and an announcer's booth.

There
are 3 other barbecue grills placed in the park along with
a few picnic tables and benches. Water is available at hydrants
and a drinking fountain. The baseball diamonds have bleachers
for fans and dugouts for each team. Once a month a concert
is held at this park during the summer. The City celebration
is also held here.
